The Malone Downloader Duo Kayak Rack is an all-in-one kit to store up to two kayaks vertically on top of your vehicle. The package comes with 2 sets of Downloader racks, two sets of JAWZ universal mounting hardware, four Malone 12-foot cam buckle straps with protective covers on the buckles, and two sets of Malone's SpeedLine ratchet style tie downs. Making frequent trips with your kayak is made easy with the fold down carrier frames that have a locking mechanism that when unlocked allows them to lay flat on the roof when not in use. This is a huge time saver for those who would normally need to attach and detach their racks when entering garages with lower clearance. On top of all that, loading your kayak is made easier with the help of the built in loading ramps. This product also carries Malone's trusted limited lifetime warranty.

I love theses racks! Installation to OEM Honda CR-V crossbars is simple, easy and very secure. I transport one Pelican Mustang 100X and one Field and Stream Eagle Run 12. Both kayaks sit perfectly in the cradles and the front loading ramps really do make it easier to to get the boats loaded. This package comes with everything you need to safely get your boats wherever you are going. The straps work great once you figure out how to route them properly and the bow and stern lines attach and tighten securely in seconds! I can load and secure both kayaks in 10-15 minutes or so. The fact that I can load up and go so quickly means I will use my kayaks a lot more and not dread loading them! The fold down feature is also great!! They sit low enough when folded down to easily fit into a garage or other low clearance area. The folding mechanism is easy to lock and unlock and feels very heavy duty and secure. I’ve only been using them for a couple months so time will tell about the durability. However, I have little doubt that these will last a long time. There are certainly cheaper racks out there that will work but the peace of mind knowing my boats are safe and secure going down the road makes these racks worth every penny!
