I should have known better. My plan was to use screws and anchors but the anchors they included were garbage. There's no lip so they just slide right into the wall. I pushed 3 through before deciding that wasn't going to work.Once the anchors failed, I should have just bought better anchors, but instead I tried to use the adhesive. About 2 days after that, one ripped off under no pressure (nothing was hanging on it...it just fell) leaving a mark like in the picture. So I ended having to buy some anchors anyway.3 were still attached with adhesive until today (a few weeks later), when one fell off under the weight of a single towel (that's the photo). The 2 that came off ripped bigger holes than the hook base, so in addition to scraping adhesive off the hook and rehanging them, I also had to patch the drywall.I can feel that the other two are tearing the paint and paper off the wall as well, so I will cut around them rehang them. At least the patch will be completely covered that way.The hooks are fine. Avoid using the included anchors and adhesive unless you want stuff in your wall or like patching drywall.Used them in all bathrooms and closets. sturdy.Feel a little cheap in your hand but look good on the wall. Not hard to install but I worry about the sturdiness. Look pretty good though for price so I won't complain much.Overall they do the job. The install was really simple, and I definitely appreciated the dual application (glue or hardware). That glue is forsure something special. My big issue is that the actual hook part is really fragile. The bit that holds onto the towel isn’t welded on. So with too much weight or if you pull your item off instead of lifting it off, the hook will spin on its axis. You can twist it back to return it to its original position, but I can see a long term issue with that.Definite pro is that it’s a really excellent design in terms of ability to hold towels without them falling off. For me, the longevity isn’t an issue because I’m not planning on keeping these forever, and I think for the price it’s a fair value. However, if you’re planning on installing these for long term use, you would have more luck investing in a higher end, sturdier product.Second time I bought these hooks . Easy to install with screws ,I don’t trust adhesive but may be I should .I installed 16 of them without any difficulties.These hooks are a great value! they are heavy duty metal and could work really anywhere. I ordered these for my kids' bathroom as there was nothing mounted in that space for towels. I had been using an over the door hanger but its a bit high up for them which meant it was a great excuse for them to throw their towels in the floor, so this was a good solution. These mount by screwing in a base that connects to the hardware. I only installed 2 so far, they didn't need all four for that space, so I have extra to pop into the wall when I need them.I bought these to use in my bathrooms to hang a hand towel or maybe a washcloth. It’s too clunky to do either Very well.Quality isn't the best, but for the price, that's expected. The price can't be beat and it was the style I was looking for.
