These faucets are the highest quality that I ever purchased! All stainless steel - not plastic - not chromed!I have tried the cheaper faucets, but they do not last. Spent the extra and only have to install them ONCE. Great overall product, easy to install and work great. Everything as advertised.I would LOVE to give this product a five star rating...It was easy to install, it looks beautiful in my bathroom, and it works perfectly...the Hot/Cold levers are so easy to turn that adjusting water temperature can be a one finger operation! When I first opened the box I was thrilled to find all of the parts had been pre-assembled, so installing it to the sink was a snap! It installed in minutes and looked beautiful! Here is where the "BUT" comes in: We had a "glitch" while hooking it up to the water supply...No water would come through the cold water line. I made a call to the Kohler Help Line and after a rather confusing conversation with a young lady who obviously had never taken a faucet handle off and looked inside one, she assured us that she would immediately send us a new valve, because she thought THAT might be the cause of our problem. That was a week ago...a replacement part has yet to arrive....If that HAD been our problem, we would still be without water in our bathroom...Luckily, we did a little more checking after I got off the phone, and we discovered that the water line itself was blocked with little chunks of black plastic...probably debris from manufacturing. It took a little effort, firm wire, toothpicks, q-tips and a vacuum suction hose to clean out the line...but everything is working perfectly now.If not for the fact that something went awry during the quality control check of this faucet, and the fact that if the problem truly had been the gadget the Help Line Lady said she was sending to us that we still haven't gotten..this product would have gotten 5 stars.! I love it!Stylish design. Amazon price is $40 less than from the Kohler website. Does NOT come with supply lines so I had to buy two 1/2" outside X 3/8" outside x 24" braided steel supply lines. Need small amount of plumbers putty ($4) to apply to the drain flange. Removal of my old 15 year old corroded Kohler Devonshire model 393 was difficult because the spring clip holding the unit to the sink was rusted and wouldn't turn easily. Had to turn off the house water supply because our two story house had water in the lines; took an hour for all the water to stop trickling out of the old first floor bathroom faucet. Took me total time about 3 hours and it was my first faucet install. Everything works great; no leaks. Saved $150 plumber fee.I almost didn’t buy this faucet because of the negative reviews but since it is a great deal compared to other retailers I decided to try it based on my experience with Kohler. I did have a problem with the first faucet. The hot water handle squeaked and sounded like something was grinding so I called Amazon and they were quick to replace it. The faucet was easy to install and contrary to most of the negative reviews it’s NOT at all flimsy and cheaply made. It weighs 5 pounds which is heavier than most. Contrary to some of the other reviews, the water pressure is more than adequate; if it was any stronger it would splash all over when it hit the sink. I am very pleased with the purchase and just bought another one for my other bathroom.NOTE: IT DOES NOT COME WITH SUPPLY HOSES AS STATED IN THE DESCRIPTION.After being in the home remodeling industry for several years in the past, I've learned to love and appreciate KOHLER and their exceptionally well built faucets. Until this wonderfully packaged garbage arrived.Upon arrival, I was a bit disappointed by the fact that the KOHLER seal was previously peeled off before and sloppily pressed back on. "No worries," I thought, since KOHLER would never send out a set with missing parts or defects. Then I opened the box.Nothing was wrong, but I've discovered something worse. The faucet HANDLES were WOBBLY and felt like any other typical cheap faucet you can buy. What's wrong with that, you say? If you've ever used KOHLER faucets, you would know that they have a very crisp and satisfying "click" when the handles are turned to its limits, like two solid pieces of steel cubes tapping against each other. To feel these handles twist by the crappy plastic valves that were supporting it was not expected of a high quality brand (not to mention the premium we pay for it) and frankly, I've never felt a KOHLER faucet that felt so utterly cheap. Keep in mind that nothing is TECHNICALLY wrong with the unit, but for the extra we pay for, KOHLER had definitely skimped on the solid brass internal components they used to use. It seems they have opted for cheap plastic parts. But it wasn't over.I look under the unit, and was shocked to see that the underpinning thread and nuts (the part that holds your faucet down to the counter) is MADE OF PLASTIC. This used to be made of brass. Now it is plastic. *smacks forehead* What the hell is happening? Stahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhp it KOHLER.FINAL THOUGHTS: In any case I am disgusted with this model, but I'm hoping that perhaps because this is one of Kohler's 'cheapest' faucet models, they did this. Even still, I don't think they should have done this to taint their brand image. If you wanted the 'KOHLER' quality, it's not here so DO NOT BUY THIS CRAPFEST POS BOX OF DISAPPOINTMENT. If you're new to KOHLER, or you do not have much experience with plumbing, there are other brands that you can purchase with better finishes/quality with lower or similar pricing.Verdict: Garbage.Product was advertised with supply lines included and they are not! It is not easy to do an install with missing parts! I am a 28 year employee of the Kohler Co and find this very disappointing!replaced1983 original and looks great and works great. happy with this purchaseWhat the heck? Paid good money for this product only for it to show up in a very beat up box with a manufacturer seal that was obviously broken, the faucet itself wasn't wrapped or protected in any way from the other materials in the box, and the right handle is broken (the whole base of the handle is loose and spins rather than just the handle turning to the on/off position) and the base plate is nicked. Incredibly displeased. Would not recommend ordering from this seller; next time I will stick to purchasing from the actual manufacturer as this otherwise appears to be a very nice faucet.Match the ones i already have in my house.
